The Department of Islamic Studies, Ministry of Religious Affairs also held The Sunat Hajat Prayer, Reading of Surah Yasin and Special Doa for the Health and Well-being of His Majesty, which was attended by students of Brunei Darussalam in Cairo, Egypt.

The ceremony was held at Surau Darussalam, the Brunei Darussalam Students' Residence Building in Cairo, Egypt. Also joining were officials from the Brunei Darussalam Embassy in Cairo, Arab Republic of Egypt.

A similar ceremony was also held by Brunei Darussalam students in Jordan. The ceremony was held at the Brunei Darussalam Embassy Office in Amman. It was attended by officers and staff of the Brunei Darussalam Embassy in the country.
